Jennifer Aurelius

Lead Bookkeeper

ClearRoad Financial was founded, and is currently led, by Stephanie Trusler—an experienced financial strategist across many industries.

Client Manager & Lead Bookkeeper

Before becoming the Client Manager and Lead Bookkeeper at ClearRoad Financial, Jenny earned a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Business at Texas A&M before moving to Austin to work as a scientist and database developer for Radian International, an environmental engineering consulting company.  There she programmed and worked with various software tools to capture and analyze large sets of data, looking for hazardous chemicals in soil and water.  Jenny led the team that developed the first company-standard database to support these efforts, and enjoyed working with teammates across many disciplines to support their clients with these projects.  She worked with cool software tools that built 3D models of these chemicals, and supported analysis and decision-making using statistical tools and methods.  Through her years working in consulting, Jenny honed her skills at balancing budget, schedule, client goals and creative problem solving.

After nine years there, she took an opportunity to work with I2 Technologies, a supply chain software company, where she developed and delivered training on implementation of their Customer Management Suite software.

While raising her family, Jenny began doing bookkeeping for small businesses and non-profit organizations, and met Stephanie through this work.  Jenny found that she thoroughly enjoyed this work, partnering with her clients to bring financial clarity and direction.  When she was looking to leverage her experiences into a new and meaningful career direction, the perfect opportunity arrived – to work with Stephanie at ClearRoad Financial.  Jenny shares Stephanie’s vision to leverage strong financial services and build long-term relationships to support our clients’ financial needs, goals, and growth.  She finds supporting our clients’ success to be deeply satisfying.

Jenny loves lots of excuses to be outdoors, including running, hiking and gardening.  Exploring someplace new, sharing a great meal with friends, and laughing with her family are a few of her favorite things.
